Chris Loiselle began his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Afterward, he was recruited by a client to become Chief Financial Officer and worked his way up to Chief Executive Officer over 15 years. Motivated by his interest in education, Chris stepped down from his CEO role to teach as an adjunct at various colleges in West Michigan. He later accepted a position as Assistant Professor at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids.

During this time, Chris joined Berrien Springs Public Schools as Operations Director, where he played a key role in expanding their alternative education offsite programs from one location to 27 across Michigan. This involved managing the complex legal, administrative, and legislative aspects of K-12 education in the state. He also founded Student Achievement Systems, a company focused on software to track and evaluate the engagement of virtual students and staff.

Now living with his wife at Lake Mecosta in Stanwood, Chris's wife and son are recent graduates of Ferris State University. Chris started his role as the Director of Charter Schools for Ferris State University February 1, 2024.
