Candice, an invaluable asset to the SVSU team since 2016, currently serves as the Director of Operations. In this role, she oversees academy operations, prioritizes quality educational opportunities, and ensures the implementation of best practices. Specializing in professional development, educational program reviews, and assessment monitoring, she brings a wealth of experience to the table.

Having served as an instructional coach, literacy specialist, and high school English teacher in Saginaw and Flint, Candice possesses a deep understanding of diverse educational environments. Her impressive qualifications include an Education Specialist degree in Central Office Administration, a Master of Arts in Literacy Education, a Bachelor of English, and a Secondary Teaching Certificate, all from Saginaw Valley State University.

Additionally, Candice is currently a doctoral student at Central Michigan University. Her expertise significantly enhances our commitment to educational excellence.
